The Waldorf Book of Soups Collected by Marsha Post
This wonderful little book is a celebration of soups from a myriad of Waldorf school communities around the country. Many Waldorf school teachers, staff, parents, alumni, and friends of the Waldorf school movement have contributed their favorite recipes to make up this collection. These recipes reflect the care and awareness that goes into providing proper nutrition for children and adults alike. You will find everything from nutritious stocks and broths to a selection of vegetable, bean, tomato, beef, seafood, chicken, and dessert soups....and, of course, no Waldorf school book of soups would be complete without a recipe for Stone Soup!
Arranged and introduced by Andrea Huff, a biodynamic foods caterer, who founded one of the first organic food school lunch programs in the United States at the Kimberton Waldorf School. The delightful illustrations are by Waldorf kindergarten teacher Jo Valens.
