Storytelling with Children Nancy Mellon
“This is a treasure trove for professionals and beginners—a book born of years of experience, written from the heart, and stirring to the soul. Reading it, I feel the urge to pull my own children close, to light a candle, to begin.... Nancy Mellon inspires us all to be storytellers.” —Katrina Kenison, author of Mitten Strings for God: Reflections for Mothers in a Hurry

- create a listening space
- use the day’s events and rhythms to create stories
- transform old tales and make up new ones
- bring life to your personal and family stories
- memorize stories through images
- and use inner theatre, walkabout, and singing
